Hi I’m Jarrah. I’m 21 and from Australia

Height: 166cm (5’5”)

Before weight: 80kg (176lbs)
After weight: 60kg (131lbs)

Total loss of 20kg (45lbs)

I have been overweight my whole life, this is the first time I have ever started to feel comfortable in my own skin.
It took 6 months of vegetarian/vegan diet and regular exercise to transform me.

Also if you could spare a second to vote for me here so I can finish the transformation I have worked so very, very hard on that would mean the world to me!
Thank you! x

I’ve tried to lose weight so many times in the past. If I hadn’t given up, I’d already be at my goal weight by now. That’s what I need to keep reminding myself every time I feel like I want to give up. Because if I do give up, five months from now, I’ll be saying the same exact thing. I’m not going to let that happen. I’m going to get to my goal weight, no matter what. I can do this. We can all do this.

Time for another progress picture! I literally can’t believe how different I look now and what a difference clean eating and exercise can make! I’ve gone from a uk size 18 to a uk size 10 which is so unbelievably crazy, and the best part of it is that I feel so much happier in myself! Trust me, once you make the change to a healthy lifestyle you’ll never look back!

Now: don’t weight myself anymore :)

In the before pic I weighed 270 lbs. That photo was taken the night I decided to change my life. I was sick of feeling bad about my weight. I was sick of being disappointed by what I saw in the mirror day. And I was sick of being unhealthy.

That night I joined MyFitnessPal and started the 5K Runner program. I knew I had to change. Counting calories helped me to keep on top of what I was eating because otherwise I would simply ignore the calorie value and eat whatever I wanted. I am proud to say that I can now run a full 5K without stopping and I am so glad I took that first step that night.

I have been having a hard time keeping up my healthy lifestyle for the past few weeks and I felt like I needed to do something to remind myself why I started and why I can’t go back to eating junk and sitting on my butt. This before and after is to re-motivate myself to keep going. Why stop now when I’ve come so far? I may gain a little back from time to time but I will never stop pushing to reach my goal. Less than 30 lbs now. I can do this.

Before picture: 270 lbs

After/Current picture: 164 lbs

Goal weight: 135 - 140 lbs

I CAN DO THIS.
